Hi, my name's Andrew and today we're going to be installing an SES suspension upgrade on this 2014 Chevrolet 2500 truck.
This is the part number we're installing today, it's a GMRCK25D. It comes pre-assembled. When you open your box you're gonna have two of these, one for either side of the axle.
It's a really easy part number to install. All we’re gonna do is take off the existing OEM bump stop. You might want a flathead screwdriver to help pry it out, and then put some soapy water on the top of your springs. Then we're just gonna push these up into their new homes.
So here's our existing OEM bump stop. In order to get our SES suspension upgrade in here, we're gonna need to remove this. The easiest way to do that is with a flathead screwdriver. Just drive it up there as far as you can get it and then just pry it out.
Then what we're gonna do is we're gonna position the SES suspension upgrade into the cup where the old OEM bump stop used to be. Then we're gonna get a block of wood and put it underneath. Now we're going to lower the truck, and the weight of the truck is going to force the new SES suspension upgrade into the cup where it needs to be.
So we've got our SES suspension upgrade installed. We've seen that we've got one-inch gap from the bottom of the spring to the top of the axle. That's going to ensure that when you're empty or when you're loaded you're gonna have a really smooth ride.
And that's all it takes to install this SES suspension upgrade, see you next time!
