Meet our Aeon® Springs

Our Aeon® rubber springs have been a leader in the industry for more than 55 years.

The basics

WHAT ARE Aeon® springs?

Aeon® springs are at the core of Timbren’s towing, hauling, and off-roading products. So what, exactly, are they?

As an alternative to air, metal, or foam springs, Aeon® springs improve suspension performance both as a sole suspension and as a spring helper. Made from 100% natural rubber, our Aeon® springs offer a progressive spring rate. This means that the more weight applied, the harder the springs work to level your load. And absorbing road shocks? Aeon® springs do that, too. The self-damping quality of our rubber springs give you a smooth, comfortable ride, even when fully loaded.

Our Aeon® springs are the reason Timbren has been a leader in suspension enhancement systems for more than 50 years.

What makes Aeon® springs better than air, metal & foam?

Progressive spring rate

Because they’re made from natural rubber, Aeon® springs have an advantage over metal springs: the ability to increase their spring rate as the load increases. This means reduced squat, sway, and roll, even under the heaviest of hauls.

Self-damping properties

Aeon® rubber suspension enhancement systems possess a unique quality called “hysteresis.” Simply put, they act like a shock absorber. They’re particularly effective when used as a helper spring.

Superior ride quality

Products like Add-a-Leaf increase your vehicle’s unloaded ride height, sometimes up to 1.5 inches. Our Aeon® springs don’t affect empty right height at all, ensuring a smooth ride — loaded or unloaded.

Easy diy installation

No need to pay for shop installation. Unlike air bags or Add-a-Leaf suspension products, you can install our products right from your driveway.

Zero Maintenance

You read that right. Unlike air bags, you don’t have to check pressure, run air lines, or watch for leaks. Just install ‘em — and forget ‘em.

Unlike foam or air bags, our Aeon springs® are durable and long-lasting. So durable, in fact, that they’re bulletproof. (Yeah, we put our springs through a serious torture test to prove it.)

Our Aeon® springs lead the industry as an alternative to steel or air bag suspension helpers.

Our Aeon® springs feature a progressive spring rate. But what does it mean? (Hint: it’s the key to a smooth, squat-free ride.)

We put our springs through the ultimate torture test. The verdict? They’re tougher than bullets.

We purchased a 5th wheel lite camper to be pulled by our 2019 Ram 1500. First time I towed the camper I was afraid I had made a poor decision, yet my friends told me to check out air bags or Timbren. I decided to go with Timbren for the ease of install. What a difference these make!!! 110% different ride, tow and felt confident this time out! I am telling all my truck buds these are worth their weight in gold.

Whether we’re towing with our Nissan Titan or our Toyota Tundra, our Timbren SES kit has been a game changer. Reduced all sag in the rear plus helps the tow rigs gain maximum control. Over a year with SES and we would never go back.

This is the second set of Timbren overloads I've owned. The first set was on my 1999 for F150 with an 8' 1985 American Pilgrim hard-sided camper. They worked so well and made the truck and camper rig handle so much better. They were on the truck for 17 years and never had a problem. The first set worked so well that when I upgraded to a newer truck and camper I immediately ordered a set for my new 2015 F250 SD Supercrew with a Lance 855 slide in camper. I also haul a 22' enclosed car hauler, and with this setup I don't even know the trailer is back there. I highly recommend Timbren SES for anyone that is planning to haul anything, especially a slide-in truck camper.

Countless miles of off-road trails and over 2 years of abuse, our Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops have not only been a huge advantage but also a necessary modification. Keeping our rig from bottoming out 1 trail at a time!
