SES Kits are Easy to Install
Timbren SES Kits make installation easier.
They are the simplest kits to install with no holes to drill (with the exception of heavy duty applications), no air lines to route and SES kits can be installed in a matter of minutes using basic hand tools.

* Please note: These installation instructions are intended as a general guide to display how simple it is to install Timbren SES Kits. Please use our Application Guide Finder to locate instructions specific to your vehicle. These instructions are not intended as instructions for installing either Dakota Air or Silent Ride suspensions.
A) Step A    Raise the vehicle to allow the axle to hang free.
B) Step B    Position the safety stands to secure the vehicle.
C) Step C    Remove the wheel assembly.
D) Step D    Remove the OEM bump stop.
E) Step E    Assemble the AEON rubber spring and bracket as shown on the installation instruction sheet.
F) Step F    Mount Timbren SES assembly using the existing holes and Timbren supplied fasteners..
G) Step G    Reinstall the wheel assembly. Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle. Check for correct positioning and clearances.

Caution
All Timbren SES (Suspension Enhancement Systems) are designed to provide maximum performance for stock suspensions in good condition. To achieve optimum performance, take note of each of the following during installation:
  • * Suspensions which have been modified may require adjustments to the Timbren SES.
  • * AEON rubber springs expand under deflection. Make sure that there is adequate clearance for the spring to expand completely.
  • * If drilling or welding the vehicle chassis fram rails always follow the manufacturer's recommended procedures.
  • * Do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended gross vehicle weight (GVWR) or axle rating (GAWR).
